Open Positions

Business Development Associate

We're looking for a Business Development Associate with strong commercial instincts, sharp communication skills, and the drive to turn conversations into real revenue and closed deals. This is a full-time, front-line growth role for someone exceptional at outbound outreach, confident presenting to executives, and energized by building pipeline from zero. You'll sit at the intersection of business development, partnerships, and deal execution — initiating conversations with business owners, building trusted relationships, and helping convert opportunities into completed transactions across Caprae's platform and portfolio. This is not a passive sales, marketing, or research role. You'll learn how deals actually get done by doing them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-volume, high-quality outbound business development (including cold outreach; ~20 hours/week)
  • Initiate and manage conversations with founders, CEOs, and business owners across industries
  • Book and run discovery meetings, partnership discussions, and early-stage deal conversations
  • Support — and over time lead — commercial, sales, and transaction-related discussions
  • Craft and deliver clear, compelling narratives around Caprae's offerings and value proposition
  • Work directly with senior leadership to prioritize and pursue high-value opportunities
  • Own and manage a pipeline of prospects, partnerships, and deal opportunities
  • Track, manage, and report on outreach activity, meetings, and conversion metrics
  • Assist in select client success, account management, and post-close relationship building
  • Contribute to brand positioning, partnerships, investor relations, and PR initiatives as needed

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong outbound and business development skills (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, exec conversations)
  • Clear, confident communicator who can build rapport quickly with senior stakeholders
  • Highly motivated, autonomous, and performance-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship, business, private equity, or finance
  • Finance education or deal exposure strongly preferred
  • Strong with numbers — this is a commercial role with real economics behind it
  • Must be fluent in English

Type: Full-time

Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the technology layer that powers Caprae Capital's deal sourcing and AI-driven research engine. This includes developing and improving features across full-stack applications, contributing to AI/ML development workflows, and working seamlessly across backend and frontend systems. The role will also involve managing deployments on Ubuntu servers, maintaining already-deployed services, and moving quickly to ship solutions and resolve issues as they arise, supporting Caprae's rapidly scaling tech infrastructure across its M&A and ETA platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and improve features across full-stack apps
  • Contribute to AI/ML development workflows
  • Ship quickly and address issues as they come up
  • Work across both backend and frontend

What We Look For

  • Full-stack development experience
  • Solid understanding of databases (schema design, queries, and data handling)
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, and JavaScript
  • Experience with the React framework
  • Comfort working with Ubuntu servers and handling deployments
  • Understanding of already-deployed services and how to maintain them
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pick up new tools quickly

Type: Full-time, remote
